Charging made simple
There are three levels of charging speed, the higher the level, the faster your e-tron can charge.

Level 1|120-volt AC Outlet
Best suited for top-ups or emergencies. Uses a standard, household 3-prong outlet.

Level 2|240-volt AC Outlet
The best setup for fast charging at home, perfect for overnight charging1. You'll also find Level 2 chargers at public charging stations nationwide. Having a permanent home charger can help you take advantage of low-cost, off-peak electricity rates.

Level 3|DC Fast Charging
Using a much higher voltage and amperage, this level is the fastest charging method. Under ideal conditions, on a 2023 Audi e-tron GT, the charge goes from 5%-80% in as little as 22.5 minutes when using a 270 kW Level 3 charger2Typically only found at public charging stations.

Home charging
Wake up to a freshly charged Audi e-tron every day by installing a dedicated Level 2 charger.

Step 1|Prepare
Consider factors such as charging location and have a licensed, professional electrician inspect your residence for a 240V / Level 2 outlet capacity.

Step 2|Purchase
Purchase a charging unit that meets your required configuration. Level 2 chargers are available at Audi Edmonton North, visit us in person or contact us by completing the form below.

Step 3|Install
Locate a licensed electrician to help with your installation, we recommend RocketEV or Evalence. If you plan to hire your own licensed electrician, review our home charger installation quick-start guide.

Audi Electrified Technology

Battery Technology

Regenerative Braking
When braking or decelerating, electric motors capture otherwise wasted energy to replenish the battery.

Thermal Management Battery Technology
Audi e-tron lithium-ion batteries are designed using an advanced thermal management system. This sophisticated technology allows for quick DC charging capabilities and consistent vehicle performance in both hot and cold climates. To maximize efficiency while driving, pre-conditioning your e-tron's battery to operate at optimal temperature can reduce energy consumption.

Reduced Maintenance Costs
Audi e-tron batteries feature independent modules that can be individually serviced or replaced by an Audi-certified technician, rather than replacing the entire battery, which can help reduce the cost of maintenance.

Maximizing Range

Many variables affect range—namely the e-tron model you drive, your driving style, towing, temperature, and how much charge is available.

Range Forecast
Audi e-tron vehicles have a range forecast feature, which takes your battery level and an energy consumption forecast to estimate how far you can travel on your current charge.

Route Planner
Knowing where you need to plug in is important for long journeys. Fortunately, the Audi e-tron navigation system looks ahead for charging stations along your route and within your current range. Available on select electric vehicles equipped with Audi connect. Requires a myAudi account and the myAudi app. Mobile data or Wi-Fi required.

Drive modes
Activate Efficiency mode in Audi drive select to help maximize range by altering vehicle parameters. On select e-tron models, the air suspension lowers at speed to reduce drag.

Pre-conditioning & Maintenance
Pre-condition while connected to the charger to keep your e-tron cool or warm as needed. Keep up with scheduled maintenance, check tire pressures and remove unused accessories, e.g. bike rack, roof box.

Electrified Performance

e-quattro
Standard on select Audi e-tron models, the quattro all-wheel drive instantly switches between two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive in specific driving situation, offering additional grip before it's needed and efficiency when it's not.

e-torque Vectoring
Bringing similar characteristics of the sports rear differential to the electric era, e-torque vectoring quickly distances torque on the rear axle to the wheel that needs it most, making for excellent traction and improved agility when powering through trims.

Dual-Speed Transmission
Unique to the Audi e-tron GT is the dual-speed transmission. First gear provides a quick response off-the-line while the higher gear provides enhanced efficiency at cruising speeds.

Connectivity

myAudi app
Control your e-tron from your smartphone with the myAudi app. Check the status of your vehicle, find charging stations, use your Electrify Canada complimentary charging credits, check your vehicle's remaining charging time, set the climate control, and more.

Audi connect
Take advantage of features including intelligent navigation, remote vehicle services, roadside assistance, driving data, and more.
