A new generation of Audi models was created to lead the charge in emission-free mobility, with the goal of being 100% carbon neutral by 2025. The Audi e-tron lineup harnesses the latest driving technology without sacrificing luxury or performance. E-torque maximizes each axle individually to deliver instantaneous acceleration and exceptional traction on all road conditions. Quattro, which comes standard on all Audi e-trons, provides additional grip by seamlessly switching between rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive depending on the road conditions. Charge at home with a Level 2 charger*, and travel confidently with charging stations located across Canada.
Types of Electric Vehicles
Battery Electric Vehicle:Â The vehicle uses an electric motor as its only source of power. The battery stores energy and gets recharged by using an electrical outlet or charging station.
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle:Â The vehicle uses both a battery and electric motor, as well as a gasoline engine. If the battery is low the engine continues to drive. The vehicle can be charged using an electrical outlet or charging station.
Mild Hybrid:Â The vehicle runs only on engine power but can save energy by turning the engine off when the vehicle is stopped.
